Return Policy
We hope you’ll be pleased with our books, but just in case you made an ordering mistake, find that you already have the book, or other reasons, we will accept returns and issue a refund according to our policies on this page.
Sometimes it’s more expensive for you to ship the book back than it is to simply donate it to your local library, community book share site, school, or other places that might need books.

Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Hardcover and paperback books, and other physical products, that have been purchased from UnhookedBooks.com/UnhookedMedia.com, can be returned within 30 days from the date of receipt of your order. If 30 days have passed since receipt of your purchase, we, unfortunately, can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
eBooks and other digital products are not returnable. Certain deeply discounted and clearance sale items may also be non-returnable.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and must be in the original packaging if applicable. We do not accept returns of products sold by other retailers, such as Amazon; please contact the retailer for their return policy.
To return your product, you should contact us by email here for return authorization and instructions.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your return is approved, a refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 10 business days.
If you haven’t received your refund yet, please double-check with your bank or credit card company to verify. It may take some time for them to process and officially post your refund. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us by email here.
Exchanges
We will only replace items that are defective or damaged, and they will be exchanged with another copy of the same item. Please send us an email here describing your concern. If an exchange is warranted, instructions for the return of the product will be given to you.
Shipping
Shipping costs are non-refundable. You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs to return your item to us. To return your product, you should first contact us by email here for return authorization and instructions.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Depending on where you live, the time it will take for an exchanged product to reach you may vary.
